"After months of searching for a wedding photographer online, I decided to pose the following question: "If you were very, very pleased with the photographer for your bay area wedding, would you please post details here?" My wife and I received a number of recommendations, and after exploring them all, we elected to go with T + K Photography for the following reasons:
1. The pricing was great (we got two photographers worth of coverage for what many single photographers charge).
2. We had no immediate need for a printed photo album; digitals were fine by us.
3. Of all the photophers' galleries we viewed, we liked T+K's "eye" for shots the best.
4. Tsukasa, one of the proprietors, had good rapport with my wife and I during phone conversations.
Tsukasa's and Kirk's travel/accommodation requests were very reasonable easy for us to satisfy (they drove all the way up from San Diego to the bay area). They arrived at the expected time and got shots of both my wife and me while we got ready in our respective hotel rooms. They got excellent coverage of the grounds, the wedding festivities, our staged family and wedding party photos, detail shots of our decorations, and even some great shots of our custom-designed rings together (Tsukasa asked to borrow our rings for a few moments on wedding day to take some shots, and we said, "They had better be good!").
We didn't receive photographs until a few days after the wedding when we were on our honeymoon, but we were absolutely floored by the quality. It had rained the morning and early afternoon of our California wedding, but the overcast skies gave a great diffused lighting to all of outdoor photos. The staged photos were great. The spontaneous photos were great. So many great memories were captured! We are pleased beyond words with the job they did and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking wedding or event photography services." S & T
